My story was forged between Athens and Havana. From my father, a Greek sea captain, I learned the discipline and the resilience of the sea; from my Cuban mother, I received passion and deep cultural roots. But it was my grandfather in Greece, a great cigar smoker, who sparked the first flame within me. His image, elegant and solemn, always in his suit with a cigar between his fingers. Became an emblem of character and distinction. Later, in Cuba, I discovered the other side of tobacco: the endless fields and the hands of the torcedores (cigar rollers) who transformed the leaf into living art.
